Travel Medicine
Before travelling, it is recommended to attend a medical consultation to discuss vaccinations, potential health risks at your destination, and ensure you have supply of your regular and emergency medicines.
Each time you travel, the travel medicine advice will likely be different due to the changes in disease prevalence and health recommendations across different countries.
If you are planning an overseas holiday, arrange to meet with your GP at least 6 weeks before your departure date to discuss your travel medicine needs.
INTERPRETER SERVICE
We use the Telephone Interpreter Service 1300 131 450 when required. We can organise an “over the phone” service or with 48 hours notice an “on-site” service.
We can arrange interpreters through NABS, National Auslan Inter-preter Service for our deaf patients.
