Emergencies
*If you are experiencing chest pain, or other potentially life-threatening symptoms, you will be directed to call 000.
We understand that illness and injuries can’t be scheduled, and there will be times that you need to be seen by a doctor quickly. To cater for this, we keep a number of “on the day” appointment slots reserved each day. This allows us to fit in those urgent presentations that can’t wait until the next available appointment with their usual doctor.
It may not always be possible to see your usual GP for urgent appointments and will depend on who has availability on the day. Whomever you do see will have access to your prior medical history and any notes made by your usual GP.
INTERPRETER SERVICE
We use the Telephone Interpreter Service 1300 131 450 when required. We can organise an “over the phone” service or with 48 hours notice an “on-site” service.
We can arrange interpreters through NABS, National Auslan Inter-preter Service for our deaf patients.
